What is search engine optimisation (SEO)?

It is the process by which you increase the number of people visiting your website from search engines. In order for you to maximise the search engine generated visits you have to make your website more visible and more interesting to the search engines. This will have the effect of putting your website link higher up the page when someone searches for related key words. The higher it is in the listing, the more people click on the link.
